Public Registration Page
Set Up Your Public Registration Page
Purpose: Help you create a clean, branded sign-up page where your customers can request a backup account for your white-label service.
The public registration page is basically your signup landing page. Your customers hit this page, see your brand, fill in the form, and we provision the backup account, send your customer a branded welcome email, and send them to your branded download page.
Where to configure the registration page
Sign in to your eazyBackup client area.
Go to Partner Hub → White-label Tenants.
Find the tenant you want to work with and click Manage.
Click Registration Page.
1. Flow configuration
This section controls what is being ordered and how the flow behaves.
Product
Choose the product you want this signup page to create. Typical pattern is one page per product, so the page has a single clear goal – sign the customer up for that specific backup plan. Conversion-focused landing pages work better when they focus on one primary action like this.
Promo code (optional)
If you want to offer a promotion (for example, a discount on the first month), enter the promo code here. Customers will not see the code itself; they just get the adjusted price.
Payment method
Choose the payment method that should be applied to new signups from this page (for example, credit card, invoice, etc.). This determines how the new account is billed once it is active.
Email options
Require email verification When enabled, customers must click a link in a verification email before their signup is finalized. This helps keep typos and throw-away addresses out of your customer list.
Send Customer Welcome When checked, the customer receives a branded welcome message after their account is created.
Send MSP Order Notice When checked, you receive an order notification when someone signs up via this page. Nice way to keep an eye on new signups without logging in.
2. Content: what your customers see
This section controls the text and links on the signup page itself.
Hero title and subtitle
This is the big text across the top of the page.
Hero title – one clear sentence that tells people what they are getting.
Example: “Cloud backup for your business laptops and servers.”
Hero subtitle – one short supporting line.
Example: “Automatic backups, point-in-time restores, and a dashboard that allows you to manage backups from anywhere.”
Feature bullets (one per line)
Use 3–5 short bullets that describe the benefits, not just the technical features.
Good examples:
“Protect laptops, servers, and virtual machines with one service.”
“Recover accidentally deleted files in minutes.”
“Data stored in Canadian data centres.”
Short bullet lists like this help visitors scan quickly and understand why they should sign up.
Legal and support links
Terms of Service URL – link to your terms page.
Privacy Policy URL – link to your privacy page.
Support URL – where customers should go if they have questions (support portal, ticket form, or contact page).
These links appear on the registration page so customers can review your policies before signing up.
Accent override (optional)
If you want this registration page to use a different accent color than the default branding for the tenant, set a hex color code here (for example, #D88463). If you leave it blank, the standard tenant accent color is used.
3. Signup domain (optional, but recommended)
By default, your registration page lives under the tenant’s *.obcbackup.com hostname. If you want a cleaner link like https://signup.acme.com, you can attach a custom signup subdomain here.
This works similarly to using your own domain for the control panel:
At your Domain Name System (DNS) provider, create a CNAME record:
Name:
signupType: CNAME
Value: This field will be the tenant host name that was assigned to your white-label tenant (for example
abcd1234.obcbackup.com).
Back in the Signup Domain section:
Enter
signup.acme.comin the text box.Click Check DNS. When the CNAME is visible to the public internet, the check will pass.
Click Attach Domain to finalize.
We then request and maintain a TLS certificate for that subdomain automatically using the ACME protocol, so your signup page is available over HTTPS without any extra work.
If you do not want a custom signup domain, just leave this section empty. The page will keep using the default *.obcbackup.com address.
What happens after a customer signs up?
Once a customer completes the registration form and submits it:
We create a new order for the product you selected.
We provision a backup account for the customer under your white-label tenant.
If you enabled Require email verification, we complete the process after they confirm their email.
If Send Customer Welcome is enabled, the customer receives your branded welcome email.
If Send MSP Order Notice is enabled, you get a notification email letting you know about the new signup.
The customer is redirected to your branded download page, where they can grab the installer for your white-label client.
From the customer’s perspective, they went to a page with your branding, filled out a simple form, and got:
A confirmation email from your brand.
A working backup account.
A download link for the client.
