# Dashboard

Usage summary, tenant filter, top buckets, daily peak chart, and ingress/egress on the e3 Object Storage Dashboard.

The **Dashboard** is the default view when you open **e3 Object Storage**. It summarizes live usage for the current service period and helps you spot growth or transfer spikes.

Open it from the tab: **e3 Object Storage → Dashboard**.

## Usage Summary

The top card shows three metrics for the selected scope:

| Metric            | Meaning                                                                       |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current Usage** | Total stored data across included buckets right now (with “as of” timestamp). |
| **Buckets**       | Count of buckets for the selected user(s).                                    |
| **Objects**       | Total object count (with “as of” timestamp).                                  |

**Current Service Period** dates appear in the card header. This aligns with your client account billing cycle for the product.

### Filter by user

Use the dropdown on the Usage Summary card:

* **All** — Root user and all Users combined.
* **Root user** — Only the primary account identity.
* **A specific User** — Only that user’s buckets and stats.

Changing the filter reloads the dashboard numbers and charts for that scope.

## Buckets by Size

Lists the **top 10 buckets** by stored size. If you have no buckets yet, a **Create Bucket** shortcut appears.

## Daily Peak Usage

Line chart of **daily peak storage** for the service period. The headline number is the **peak billable storage** context used alongside Billing (see How billing works).

## Data Ingress and Data Egress

Two cards with charts and period selectors:

| Period     | Shows                              |
| ---------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Today**  | Transfer for the current day.      |
| **7 Days** | Rolling week view.                 |
| **Month**  | Current service period month view. |

* **Data Ingress** — bytes received (uploads into storage).
* **Data Egress** — bytes sent (downloads from storage).

Ingress is free on e3 Object Storage. Egress is free up to a multiple of your peak storage; see How billing works.
