# Historical Stats

Billing period navigation, tenant filter, peak, ingress, egress, operations charts, and CSV export.

**Historical Stats** shows storage, ingress, egress, and API-style **operations** across billing periods or custom date ranges.

**Navigation:** **e3 Object Storage → Historical Stats**

## Period navigation

* **Previous period** / **Next period** — move between billing periods.
* **Jump to current** — return to the active period.
* The banner shows **Billing Period** dates and the selected tenant (**All tenants**, **Root user**, or a User).

If you have overdue invoices, a notice may link to invoices in the client portal.

## Tenant filter

Use the dropdown (same options as Dashboard) to scope stats to:

* **All** — combined Root + Users
* **Root user**
* A specific **User**

## Summary cards

For the selected period and tenant:

| Metric         | Description                                        |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| **Peak Usage** | Highest storage in the range (date of peak shown). |
| **Ingress**    | Total bytes received.                              |
| **Egress**     | Total bytes sent.                                  |
| **Operations** | Total S3 operations counted for metering.          |

## Charts

When data exists for the period:

* **Ingress Over Time**
* **Egress Over Time**
* **Storage Usage Over Time**

Empty periods show **No activity in this period.**

## Range presets (custom analysis)

Use **Range** when available:

* **Billing period (default)**
* **Last 7 days**
* **Last 30 days**
* **Custom** — pick start and end dates, then **Apply**

## Export to CSV

1. Click **Export…**
2. Optionally choose a **Tenant**
3. Set **From** / **To** dates
4. Format: **CSV**
5. Click **Download**

Use exports for internal reporting or to reconcile against How billing works.

Both show peak storage concepts; Historical Stats is better for **trends** and **export**.
