# Billing page

Storage Billing in the client area: current usage, billable peak, MTD balance, and invoices in the client portal.

In **e3 Object Storage**, the **Billing** tab shows **Storage Billing** — usage and estimated charges for object storage. This is separate from client account invoices.

**Navigation:** **e3 Object Storage → Billing**

## Storage Billing summary

| Field                   | Meaning                                                         |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current Usage**       | Total stored data now (“as of” timestamp).                      |
| **Billable Usage**      | Peak storage in the current period — basis for storage charges. |
| **Current MTD Balance** | Estimated charge in **CAD** month-to-date.                      |

The header shows **Current Period** start and end dates.

Use the **Refresh** button to reload figures from the metering backend.

## Transfer cards

* **Data Ingress** — bytes received in the period.
* **Data Egress** — bytes sent in the period.

Ingress is free. Egress billing follows How billing works.

**Projected Usage** may display as not available — rely on **Current MTD Balance** and Historical Stats for planning.

## Data Storage chart

Line chart of stored bytes across the current billing period. Compare with **Historical Stats** for prior periods and export.

## e3 Cloud Backup Usage (if shown)

If your account also has **e3 Cloud Backup**, an additional card may list cloud backup metrics, trial state, or suspension notices. That section bills the **cloud backup product**, not object storage. Object storage charges remain in the Storage Billing summary above.

## Client portal payment method and invoices

Account-level billing lives outside the e3 Object Storage tabs:

### Update payment details

1. Sign in at [accounts.eazybackup.ca](https://accounts.eazybackup.ca/).
2. Open **My Account** from the client menu.
3. Go to **Payment Details**.
4. Click **Add new Card** (or update existing).
5. Save your payment method and billing address.

### View invoices

1. Open **Billing** from the main client menu.
2. Download invoice PDFs and review payment history.
3. Use search by invoice number, date, or text.

Overdue notices on the Dashboard or Historical Stats may link to **View invoice** in the client portal.
